We acknowledge with respect the lək̓ʷəŋən People on whose traditional territory our wellness center stands, including the Songhees, Esquimalt, and WSÁNEĆ people whose historical relationships with the land are unbreaking. We truly believe that the relationship and practices that these groups had and still have with the land contain invaluable teachings. These teachings embody reciprocity and respect to the land that has been disrespected immensely by settlers and the actions of colonization.

The land where MĀ exists was stolen. Acts of genocide and attempted erasure of First Nations people were a product of this colonization, and those actions have impacted every facet of where we live today. We strive to have our actions and interactions while on this land echo an understanding of this harm.

We offer a complimentary 10-class yoga pass to all residential school survivors and their descendants, as well as access to our Yoga Teacher Training scholarship program.

If you are someone who could benefit from these services, please fill out the form below and let us know how we can help.
