Featuring natural fir beams, shou sugi ban wooden floors, and a blend of skylights and ornate windows, our studios maximize Victoria’s natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Sound quality was a top priority in our design, ensuring every word from our instructors and every note of music is crystal clear, enhancing your focus and immersion in the practice without distracting echoes.

Practitioners New to Yoga Āsana:
Āsana, derived from the Sanskrit word for “seat,” embodies the essence of finding a harmonious balance between stability and ease within yoga postures. If you’re new to the practice of yoga, we have tailored 4-6 week series called “The Foundations of Yoga Asana,” which are regularly offered. These specialized workshops are designed to provide you with a solid groundwork before venturing into our drop-in classes, helping you find your own place within our welcoming community. Gentle Hatha classes are also highly recommended. These classes are active, but are generally slower moving, and offer more pause between the shapes.You will find these classes held weekly in both studios at MĀ Wellness and Yoga in Victoria, BC.

Late Cancel / No Show Policy
Please note that we have a 4 hour window of cancellation. The objective is to allow all those who wish to practice an opportunity to do so.
If you sign up for a class and do not attend or cancel outside of 4 hours there will be a $20 fee charged. This fee goes towards our Community Wellness program and is charged to your CC on file.
If you are ill, please email info@mawellnessandyoga.ca and you will be removed from class without a charge.
